Marlene is running a workshop at ASME WA’s Summer School. The date she will be presenting is on the 19th January 2018.
Our Workshops
All workshops will cover warm-ups and cool-downs and other aspects of the Kidz-Fiz-Biz repertoire but some will expand on a particular area. All workshops are suitable for teachers and any others engaged with children in childcare (2-5 years), kindergarten to year 3 (3-8 years) as well as music and physical education.
Usually a workshop is two hours, but shorter or longer sessions can be arranged.

Let’s Get Physical

Let’s Just Play
Use of simple equipment to engage children’s interest, such as scarves, ribbon sticks, balls, beanbags, hoops, ladders, parachutes and rainbow rings. Engaged children learn better.
Let’s Just Chill Out
Providing relaxation techniques for hyped-up children in the early childhood music and general classroom.
Let’s Have Fun at Mat Time
Activities suitable for small spaces that do not involve moving around the room such as songs, rhymes, fingerplays, as well as use of non-tuned percussion instruments to teach beat and rhythm and even for telling stories in the early childhood music and general classroom.
